Your implant is scheduled

Here's how to prepare

Your surgeon can only place a cylinder that fits the length available on the day of surgery. The weeks before your procedure are your chance to get that tissue ready.

Why your doctor sent you here

Most men reach implant surgery after years of

lost circulation

Erectile dysfunction does not just affect function. When tissue goes months or years without regular blood flow, it loses elasticity and shortens. That happens quietly, long before surgery is ever discussed.

This matters on the day of your procedure for one reason. Your surgeon measures the space available inside the penis and places the largest cylinder that fits. Tissue that has been conditioned beforehand gives him more to work with.

That is what this program does. Daily vacuum therapy in the weeks before surgery draws blood into the tissue, restores elasticity, and recovers length that has been lost, so you arrive at surgery prepared rather than hoping for the best.

What the research shows

This is not a theory.

Surgeons have been studying it for years.

Preoperative vacuum therapy has been examined in clinical trials and large surgical series, and it is recognized in international sexual medicine guidelines as an option before implant surgery.

A randomized clinical trial

Men who used a vacuum device daily for one month before implant surgery had a measurable increase in penile length on the day of their procedure, and surgeons found the tissue easier to work with.

A 750-patient surgical series

A surgical practice using daily vacuum preparation before implantation reported placing longer cylinders than before they adopted the protocol, and complaints about shortened length after surgery nearly disappeared.

What you receive

A program, not just a device

Most men handed a pump stop using it within a week. Not because it failed, but because nobody explained what to expect or what good progress looks like. That is the part we do differently.

  • An FDA-cleared medical device. Manufactured in the USA with an automatic safety limiter, so the pump shuts off at maximum safe pressure and over-pumping is not possible.
  • A preparation routine built around your surgery date. We work backward from the date your surgeon gave you.
  • Video tutorials. See exactly how each step is done before your first session, instead of guessing from a diagram.
  • One-on-one coaching. Call or text Charles directly. Most questions are answered the same day.
  • Discreet delivery. Plain box, CBH Medical as the return address. Ships next business day.

When to start

Sooner is better, and the first two weeks matter most

Published surgical protocols vary. Some begin a couple of weeks before surgery, others start two to three months out. The more preparation time you have, the more length there is to work with on the day.

The largest gains tend to come in the first two weeks, so even a short runway is worth using. If your surgery is already scheduled, call us and we will build the schedule around your date.

Three things to be clear about

The goal is recovering length you have lost, not adding length you never had. The goal is recovering length you have lost, not adding length you never had. This program restores tissue that has shortened from years of reduced circulation.

This is preparation only. This is preparation only. Vacuum devices are used before your implant, not after it is placed. The program ends at surgery.

Timing is your surgeon's call. He knows your case. Confirm your start date with him before you begin.

Who you'll be working with

"I went through this myself."

Charles Hilson founded CBH Medical after his own prostate cancer treatment, building the program he wished someone had handed him. He is the one who answers the phone.

MD Anderson physicians refer their patients to Charles for penile rehabilitation, as do physicians at UT Physicians and practices nationwide.

Common questions

Before you order

  • My surgery is only a few weeks away. Is it too late?

No. The biggest gains happen in the first two weeks, which is exactly why surgeons use short protocols when that is all the time there is. Call us and we will build the schedule around your date.

  • Will this change whether I still need the implant?

This program prepares the tissue for surgery. It is not a treatment designed to replace your procedure, and any decision about your surgery belongs between you and your surgeon.

  • Does insurance cover it?

Coverage varies. The CPT code is L7900. We accept FSA and HSA cards and can provide documentation if you submit a claim yourself. No prescription is required.

  • How much time does it take each day?

A daily session that fits into an ordinary morning or evening routine. We walk you through it step by step on your first call.

  • What happens after my surgery?

The program ends there. Vacuum devices are not used once an implant is placed. Your surgeon guides your recovery from that point.

  • How is it shipped?

Plain box, CBH Medical as the return address. Nothing outside indicates the contents. Ships next business day and arrives in three to five days.
